Admission Process (MBA)

Selection Procedure (MBA in Hospital and Health Management/Digital Health/ Pharmaceutical Management /Rural Management/Development Management)

The eligible candidates are invited for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection of the candidate is based on his/her performance in the qualifying examination with a proportional score in CAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ GMAT/ IIHMR-U MAT, the Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates are required to bring their original documents at the time of the interview.  The candidate will be assessed on the following criteria:

Entrance Exam Calculation:

CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/NMAT/GMAT/GPAT/ IIHMR UMAT - Percentile x 30 / 100

OR

**Score in Entrance Exam x 30 / Maximum Marks of the Exam

  • 10 bonus marks will be given to the candidates appeared in CAT/XAT/ GPAT subject to maximum marks of 100
  • 5 bonus marks will be given to the candidates appeared in MAT/CMAT/ATMA/NMAT/ GMAT subject to maximum marks of 100
  • *GPAT is admissible for admissions to MBA Pharmaceutical Management
  • **Applicable in case of IIHMRU MAT, GMAT, GPAT

  • ****B. Pharma degree will be considered as Professional course for admission to MBA Pharmaceutical management. For all other courses, it will be considered as graduate course.
  • Sports and extra-Curricular activities: 05 Marks (5 marks for candidates who have represented at national level and 3 Marks for candidates who have represented at state level, rest will be awarded no marks)
  • Combined score of Sports and Extra Curricular activities and Experience is subject to award of maximum 5 marks.

Minimum scores in aptitude test for admission

CAT/ XAT/MAT/NMAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT/GPAT:

Minimum 50 percentile/ qualifying score in any of the national level entrance exam. Those are having less than 50 percentile will be required to appear in IIHMR UMAT.

IIHMR UMAT:

  • MBA HM and MBA DH – 75 marks out of 150 marks
  • MBA PM – 60 marks out of 150 marks
  • MBA DM and MBA RM – 60 marks out of 150 marks
