Dr. Lakshmi Subramaniam Ladha

Dr. Ladha has worked in both the academia and industry, in India and the USA, and offers an inter-disciplinary approach that regards both theory and practice as closely connected. She has Ph.D. from National Law University Jodhpur, M.S. in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, M.S. in Economics from Carnegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, and PGDM from IIM Calcutta, India. She has 10 years of experience as Professor of Finance: at Goa Institute of Management (3+ years), and before that at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (7 years). She has taught Financial Management, Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate Restructuring, Corporate Governance, Strategic Financial Management, Competitive Intelligence, and Behavioral Finance. Prior to returning to India, she has taught graduate-level finance courses as an adjunct professor at Kellogg School of Northwestern University as well as St. Louis University, and undergraduate finance courses at Southern Illinois University. Dr. Ladha has worked for two decades in the Financial Services sector in the USA at senior strategic positions at Wells Fargo, JP Morgan Chase, and Citicorp.
