Over the years, India has grown into one of world’s most visited destinations for medical tourism due its holistic healthcare approach such as: quality and options of treatment, infrastructure and expert personnel, less or no waiting time, alternative therapies, and more. India also maintains a stringent accreditation system, such as the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) and Joint Commission International (JCI) at hospitals and medical centers that puts it at par with other developed countries. Some alternate therapies that India offers are Ayurveda, Sidha, Unani, Yoga, Acupuncture, Homeopathy, and more.
