The primary objective of the coursework is to facilitate integrative learning, so that graduates can walk into their professional roles with ease and play a vital role both at the operational and strategic levels.. Furthermore, the course allows the students to specialize in domains such as: Financial Inclusion, Health Education, Livelihood Enhancement Skills, Entrepreneurship and Natural Resource Management.

  • Critical thinking, active engagement with multiple stakeholders, and lateral thinking that allows students to think practically and strategically.
  • Foundational managerial skills associated with development praxis, ideally for all sectors (government, civil society, and private sector); and more specifically, skills which are relevant for the specialization that students choose.
  • Strong fieldwork and organizational skills based on off campus learning experiences, so that once they graduate, students can hit the ground running.

The course is designed to cater to the needs of a rapidly transforming India, where developmental challenges are not limit to rural areas infact, the rural-urban continuum has made it virtually impossible to, speak for rural or urban spaces in isolation. This program aims at preparing professionals for a challenging career in sectors like public, private, NGOs, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), national and multinational organizations, that are committed to erase rural-urban inequities by promoting "urban" infrastructure and amenities that emphasize a growing confluence of cities and the countryside. Hence, the program outcomes (POs) for MBA-Rural Management two years’ full-time course are as follows:

MBA Hospital and Health Management is a two year program. All the introductory and core courses are common to all the streams.The second year is for specialized courses relevant to that stream. The course design is as under.

Each student is required to submit a dissertation involving personal research in his/her area of interest. The dissertation includes a critical review of literature pertaining to the specific area of interest, data collection and analysis on the selected problem. The dissertation must be completed in the second year to qualify for the degree.

  • Terms & Conditions

    Scholarships are not guaranteed to all the candidates fulfilling the above criteria
    Limited scholarships will be awarded based on the above criteria, overall profile and score obtained in the selection process at the sole discretion of the Admission & Scholarship Committee.
    SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EwS/Kashmiri Migrants/Children or Widows of personnel of the Armed Forces meeting the above criteria will be given preference in award of scholarship
    The total scholarship amount will be adjusted in the last instalments. The amount of Scholarship will not be disbursed directly to the student.

Selection Procedure

The eligible candidates will be invited for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Final selection of the candidate is based on his/her performance in the qualifying examination, score in CAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ GMAT/ IIHMR-U MAT, Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) as under:

Education Loan Assistance

All major banks provide bank loan for this course. Students who wish to apply for the bank loan may formally take admission in the university by paying their first installment. The student may share the bank and branch where he/she wish to apply for education loan, the admission department will help the aspiring students understand the loan procedure and the required documents as per the bank will be provided upon request.

IIHMR University is also having formal tie-ups with Central Bank of India, and other nationalized banks for offering education loans, to students interested in taking admission to different programs offered by the university.

Duly completed application forms with all supporting documents may be sent by post along with a demand draft of Rs. 1,000/- drawn in favor of “IIHMR University”, payable at Jaipur and all the documents in support of eligibility.

An application will be considered only when it is received with all documents and the application fee. The application fee is non-refundable.
